Cloverfield Review: 3 Stars

Picture 3.png

I went to see Cloverfield with Scott last Friday. Most reviews I had read or received from friends, the consensus was that I would either love it or puke hate it.

For me, it was just okay. I didn’t hate it (or puke), but I didn’t love it either. It was pretty well done, taking it for what it was, but it most definitely did not live up to the hype.

Hud (the camera man) was an anomaly as well – I couldn’t decide if I liked him or if he took away from the film. His comic relief was welcome, but I think overall, it went against the realism the movie and style was trying to portray, which annoyed me.

Hopefully I’ll get a chance to see Rambo this week.
