CMS Info

Brian

I’m currently reviewing CMS options: Concrete5, Symphony, CushyCMS, and, of course, WordPress. Anyone want to offer any opinions?

I’ve used Drupal and Joomla as well. They aren’t listed because I need something a little more simple for my end users (on the admin side) and Joomla can be VERY bulky.

  1. Dude,

I’ve been playing with Drupal for my own portfolio site, and it’s way too complicated for me, though it would largely be a small and static site, so it’s a bit of overkill.

CushyCMS seems interesting to me, and if I was a better visual designer, I’d be tempted to use it. But WordPress is so mature and so flexible, it’d be really difficult to talk me down from using it for just about any website, blog or not.
