It’s Not the “Hitting” Hall of Fame

I love Peter Gammons, almost as much as I love Tim Kurkjian. This is a pretty good write up on the status of the DH in the league and with the Hall of Fame.

Hitters are necessary. Hitters who can play on both sides the ball are invaluable.

I give much respect to Harold Baines, who was quite a hitter, but it’s the Baseball Hall of Fame, not the Hitting Hall of Fame.
