Mac Tip: Color Matching Tool

I use Pixie a lot on my Windows machines. It’s a neat little color picker app that just works exactly as it should.

I found out today that Apple built one into OS X. It’s probably been there forever, and I just now found out about it, but cool nonetheless, and thought I would share.

It’s called DigitalColor Meter (it’s in Utilities, or just use Spotlight and start typing) and it’s simple and effective.
